Buhari Chinese Kung-Fu traning centre is one of the oldest martial arts schools in south india,
established in 1994. Chinese Kung-Fu classes provides training in the Chinese martial arts
popularly
known as "kung fu". Kung-fu is taught by Mr.Buhari M M and his team members through our
selected centers.
Several benefits are promoted through the practice of traditional Chinese martial arts exercises
and forms. Some of these benefits include
Confidence & self-esteem
Discipline & good manners
Improve ability to listen, focus & concentrate
Improve physical strength, flexibility & coordination
Improve aerobic fitness
Self-defense etc.. .
The Shaolin Temple is considered as the origin of Zen Buddhism and all kinds of martial arts.
The Shaolin Temple lies at the foot of the Songshan mountain, one of the five holy mountains
of China.Shaolin Temple was built in 495 A.D. by an Indian monk named Ba Tuo in the Songshan
mountains in the province Henan. The Chinese history says that the Indian monk Bodhidharma
(also Ta-Mo) is the founder of Chinese boxing (Kung Fu or Wushu). He settled down in the
legendary Shaolin temple and met a majority of monks around himself and spread the buddhistic
theory of Chan. Bodhidharma developed the 18 boxing techniques of Shaolin, which was trained
by the monks because their body condition was rather bad because of long meditation. The
exercises helped to enhance the health of the monks, which energize the internal organs and
steel their muscles, so that they are able to live longer.
Our arts are taught in their traditional forms. Emphasis is placed on their value as "Life Arts" as
opposed to the single vision of a fighting art. Students are encouraged to develop at their own
rate. The competitive aspect of the training is comparing one's progress, improvement and
development from one year to the next. Each student decides the path that their training will
take (meditative, exercise, practical application, or any combination of the above). No one is
forced
to partake in any of the training they feel is unsuitable. There is in effect a system of
ranking for
those individuals who desire a more formal method of advancement and for those
who will someday
teach.
We have the ability to present our workshops any where and welcome the opportunity to share
our styles with anyone who is interested.
